Hi, I'm sharing this on behalf of the family.

Jahrique McDonald, 27, a loving and dedicated Father, Son, Grandson, Brother, Uncle, and Nephew was shot dead in front of his home and 11-month old daughter on this past Saturday, October 14th, 2023.

The act of violence against Jahrique was unprovoked, unnecessary and perpetrated by someone Jahrique knew & trusted. Details of this senseless tragedy are still unfolding and an investigation is ongoing so the family is limited in the amount of information that can be shared.

Jahrique was an AMAZING young man and he reveled in being a girl dad. His daughter Ja'Niyla was the core of his existence. He was extremely family oriented, compassionate, loving and caring. Every person given the opportunity to be in his presence loved him. He was a true beacon of light and he loved the LORD.

As we mourn in our loss, this gofund me page was created to assist the family with burial arrangements and any unforeseen expenses.
