A Lasting Legacy of Faith and Charity

In loving memory of Jahanzeb Khan Niazi, we are embarking on a noble project to construct a mosque in Pakistan. This Sadqa Jariyah initiative will not only serve as a tribute to their memory but also provide a sacred space for the local community to worship, learn, and grow in their faith.

Mosque Facilities
The mosque will be designed to accommodate approximately 100-200 people and will include:
- A spacious prayer hall for congregational prayers- Wudhu areas with modern facilities for ritual ablution, catering to the needs of 100-200 people. Prayer and Wudhu- Classroom for Islamic education and community programs- A community hall for events, gatherings, and social activities.

Your Contribution, A Lasting Impact
We aim to raise £7,500 to complete this project. Every donation, big or small, will bring us closer to our goal and contribute to the ongoing rewards for Jahanzeb Khan Niazi. Your support will:
- Provide a place of worship for the local community- Foster a sense of unity and belonging among Muslims- Generate ongoing rewards for Jahanzeb Khan Niazi through the Sadqa Jariyah

Rest in Peace Brother. 22nd August 2025 .
Martyr Jahanzeb Khan Niazi
Indeed, to Allah we belong & to Allah we shall return.

An orphan once again, I lost my backbone on the blessed morning of Friday. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “There is no Muslim who dies on the day of Friday or the night of Friday, but Allah will protect him from the trial (fitnah) of the grave.” (Narrated by Ahmad, 6546; At-Tirmidhi, 1074. I witnessed a death that day that left a family of six, reduced to two, but our Lord favoured you. You left this lowly world after years of battling collateral cancer with stoicism, over hundred hours were spent with you in hospital, ironically where you entertained and showcased your wit to all. I heard the terms “Perfect”, “Comfortable” & “Beautiful” from your hearty voice and infectious enthusiasm to describe your condition whilst you remained with little to none mobility at thirty-three kilograms.

A fighter, a ward where oxygen masks & catheters were common, vigour demonstrated on every occasion with your urine bottles filled as a trophy. Independent; whilst discussions were held regarding your discharge with care throughout the day at home, you were planning residing in the bodies of green birds, nesting in chandeliers hanging from Allah's Throne.

As always, you knew, calculated departure, Allah permitted you to calculate one last time, you informed us of your death verbally, seven hours before passing. I spent the nights with you where you still showcased excellent empathy in the time I was concerned for you, yet you couldn’t still fathom putting yourself as a priority. Interrupting your rest to provide comfort to new ward patients, greeting and introducing. You shared your photo album, picture by picture, detailing memories and images of those who keep close by your heart, giving an insight of your life.

You handed over; you referred to me as “Jaani”, meaning "life" and a term of endearment. Nonetheless, placed your Jaani on a pedestal, permitted me to make decisions for you, knowing your guidance will no longer be an option as now being the last remaining man in our family. You knew, satisfied with His decree, you spent your remaining years in repentance and giving. Hosting hot dinner meals for the homeless in Trafalgar Square in excess of hundred persons weekly, sharing your wealth of knowledge in diet plans for those with ailments, standing as a rock for those in need to physical and mental strength.

Your legacy remains and lasts with the youth of today holding you high in regard for the guidance and elders of our generation, soaking in your life and transition, you were a part of all generations, the man with a golden heart. Reap the benefits of the golden ticket to Jannat al-Firdaus, our Joe-Joe, Jahan, Pathan & Bhai. As you slowly took your last breaths with your family surrounding your bedside reciting the Shahada and moistening your lips with Zam Zam, you were later buried in own beloved hometown Watford amongst your closest and dearest.

"The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "He (a Muslim) who dies of an abdominal disease is a martyr, and he who dies of plague is a martyr".
