Goldie's Medical Expenses ❤️

Dear family, friends, and loved ones. I’m fundraising in hopes to recoup some of Goldie’s medical expenses. In early September, our poor little dog suffered from an infected and abscessed gland on her rear end. The pet hospital also surgically removed two masses on her chest and biopsied them. Her medical bills came to $3,675.00 Goldie’s pet insurance covered $2,244.00, leaving total out of pocket expenses of $1,431.00. And now she needs dental surgery.

This is coming right after I dislocated my knee in July, it was a complete patella dislocation. Most of my medical expenses went to getting an MRI, which revealed that I tore my MPFL ligament in my knee. No surgery was needed. (Thank goodness and gracias por Dios!) My medical expenses came to $7,383.00. My Kaiser insurance plan covered $5,793.00. My out of pocket expenses are $1,625.00, which, unlike Goldie’s expenses, I did not have to pay all upfront.

Normally these unexpected expenses would be more manageable. However, they did come all within two months. AND we are also still paying off about $10k that went into our “involuntary kitchen remodel”, as I like to say, after we had a leak in 2023. We love our new kitchen and don’t regret customizing it to our liking. But, money is tight.

It’s not lost on me how incredibly blessed and privileged we are. If you feel compelled to donate towards our little furry four legged friend, it would truly be appreciated. No donation is too small.
