Jah Sun fire recovery love
Donation protected
Our brother Jah Sun has been a long time supporter to our community and scene. He has donated to many gofunds just like this one and now he needs our help.
Jah Sun just purchased and moved into a house in Ashland, OR where he was working to convert the property into a small eco resort with a healing facility and cultural event center. The property had a house with a detached apartment, a 2,000 sq ft building and 1.1 acres with raised garden beds and fruit trees. On Tuesday September 8th during the Ashland fires his property burned along with all of his personal belongings.
Of all the things lost among them was his favorite Taylor acoustic guitar which was used to write many of the Jah Sun songs we all love. Also his laptop which was his main tool to run his music business and had loads of unreleased music.
Let’s pull together as a community and raise $5,000 to help our brother Jah Sun get a new guitar, a Mac laptop and some new clothes so he can get back to making music to share with the world.
The first song he will write on his new guitar will be about this experience of losing almost everything but realizing the best things aren’t things. Let’s all be part of his new song.
