Jah - Emergency vet bills fundraiser

Can't believe I'm typing this, but here we are.

 

On June 2nd 2022, our loyal companion and best friend (of 9 years) Jah was taken from us in a sudden and cruelly unjust way.

 

 

 

 

 

 

We don't find it approriate to go into minute details, but a few different doctors' prognoses were that our friend was fatally poisoned by something or someone, we exhausted every effort imaginable at the Pet Hospital, in hopes to course correct this awful situation.. but our efforts were unsuccessful.

 

 

 

 

Another heartbreaking coincidence, last night.. we were cuddling with him in bed, discussing and coming to the decision that Jah needs a companion. And that we would be getting another female cat for Jah to have a friend and companion in the next few months.

 

June 1st, 9:30PM - Celebrating Melissa and I's 7-year anniversary.

 

 

 

 

The very next day, he was gone from our lives.

 

With little to no way of helping him, but just slowly watching his life whither away before our eyes at the pet hospital.

A piece of both Melissa's and my life and heart left this world last night.

 

He was more than just a cat that you feed, brush and live with.. he was our best friend and spent all hours of every day by our side, on the couch, on our laps, in the director's chair.. greetings us everyday when we would come home.

 

A true and loyal companion.

We are going to miss his chirps, his purrs, we are going to miss turning on the sink for him to get some fresh water, we are going to miss scratching his belly, getting chin/beard kisses, we are going to miss giving him treats, catnip and his favorite can of tuna every once in a while.

 

We loved Jah and will miss him dearly.

Any donations raised during this fundraiser will go toward the veterinarian/emergency, and multiple life-saving attempt bills.
