Hi, My name is Sarah and I am writing about Jagger, my loyal and loving 4 year old goldendoodle dog.

He has always been a bundle of joy and energy, whether it's chasing after his favorite ball, greeting me with a wagging tail, or simply being by my side, Jagger has brought immense happiness into our life. However, our journey together has recently taken an unexpected turn once again.

Last year, during one of our usual play sessions at home, Jagger suddenly yelped in pain and started limping. After a visit to the vet, we received the news that Jagger had torn his ACL (ligament tear) on his left hind leg and would need surgery to recover. We paid a huge amount (close to $ 6000) for his surgery and got him operated. The doctors had warned us that since he is genetically predisposed to this, his right leg may also lead to a torn ACL.

We took every precaution with him but unfortunately this year his right hind leg has given way and he once again has to have the ACL surgery on his right hind leg. This time around cost of the surgery I am not able to cover by myself. It comes up close to CAD 5,000.

Jagger's spirit remains unbroken despite his injury. He still tries to play and be his cheerful self, but I can see the pain in his eyes. It breaks my heart to see him like this, and I am determined to do everything I can to help him get back on his paws.
