At the start of this year I was arrested with an allegation that has cost me my art career due to seizure of equipment, subsequently making me homeless.
I am looking to get a solicitor who is knowlegable in ABDL etc to defend me. I'm still in the process of looking for an exact match that I am comfortable with representing me but from looking around it looks like the fees could be anywhere past £12,000 which is a very significant amount.
Currently as it stands I am out of commission as the investigation and everything has put me in a situation where I am unable to do any art, so even simply buying food is tight but I'm about managing with all the gratious support of everyone in the community. Which is why the legal fees are very out of my scope right now and why people have advised that I seek community help.
I am not charged as of yet, which I hopefully shouldn't be, but this is why I believe having proactive representation (especially with kink like ABDL) will be beneficial and not allow things to get more out of control than they already have and to have someone represent and advocate for me.
With autism I struggle with speaking for myself properly and the worry is that this may be abused. With someone who knows how to navigate this environment that I'm very uncomfortable in I believe I stand a much better chance of making it through this.
