My name is Jenny. I was diagnosed with Uterine Cancer in November. My surgery is in February 2016.
I started my story as a homeless teen, continued it supporting my disabled husband. Receiving my diagnosis took me a back, I had been really sick beforehand and I was told there was an 8% chance I'd get cancer. I started HRT to prevent this. Prometrium was expensive but I wanted to have children. Unfortunately I still bled. By my second biopsy they'd diagnosed me. I have been really I'll as of late and I'm so scared of losing our home. I'm a little behind on utilities. Our water heater broke and I want to get everything taken care of prior to me surgery.
I calculated what I would need to keep the lights on, the heat running and for transportation, to pay for my insurance when I can't. I had intended to save this up. But I keep on getting sicker. Work does not have short term disability. EI has a waiting period of 2 weeks to 1 month.
Anything would help.
