As many of you know, our son Jael, was involved in an accident on Tuesday March 22, 2022. Due to the accident he was hospitalized not once, but twice and transported to Arnold Palmer Children's Hospital.

He sustained a massive concussion, road rash and 2 brain bleeds (one on his parietal and the other between his right frontal and temporal lobes). Jael has a long road ahead of him in terms of a full recovery, although the strides he has made is nothing short of a miracle.

This is not something we ever saw ourselves dealing with as parents, yet this is our new normal. Everyday has its fill of ups and downs, twists and turns, as we learn and navigate through all the trauma that he endured, as well as the rest of the family.

At the moment, we have many things that we are combing through and trying to handle in the best manner possible. But as his parents, our first and first most concern is his recovery and helping him cope.

We have future appointment setup for follow-ups with the "Concussion Clinic" and his Neurologist. Jael will also need specialized speech therapy, as well as, grief and PTSD counseling. Counseling will also be needed for our families to learn was to cope with everything that has unfolded.

Any funds raised will be used towards future follow-ups/ treatments, therapy, grief/PTSD counseling, medical bills and to ensure both households have some breathing room due to the loss of work during his recovery.

We are so overwhelmed and grateful to the outpouring of love, prayers and support.
