Hello everyone!

My name is Jae Hun (Jeremy) Hwang, and I am a 2020 SPHS alumni, 2022 PCC alumni and I was recently admitted to UCLA to study Human Biology and Society. Four years ago, I moved to South Pasadena with my parents, missionaries who sought to pursue their post-graduate studies. My family is extremely grateful for the high-quality educational opportunities in the United States and my dream is to attend UCLA and pursue a career in medicine. To this end, I need to raise funds to get me through this next school year until I qualify for in-state tuition. We are in the process of obtaining permanent residency in California which will allow me to receive in-state tuition and federal/state financial aid in the future. However, as of today, I have to pay my tuition as an out-of-state student for this academic year. I have been working with the UCLA financial aid office, and I have exhausted the limited options due to my current residency status. As a last resort, I am asking for assistance and any support would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for your generosity.
