My name is Jae Gold. I am shooting my senior capstone this February. This project means a great deal to me, so any donation helps.

Inspire by the real and fictional tragedies of Flint, Michigan and the legend of Icarus -- Ichorus is a story of corporate greed, manipulation, and abuse of people and the destruction of our climate. As AI centers ravage small towns and rapidly worsen the effects of global warming, this film aims to shine a light on the impact of willful neglect from powerful corporations. Like the greek tragedy from which this film gets its name, there are consequences in moving too far too fast. It is my hope to inspire people to create change while also giving a cautionary tale for those who would fly too close to the sun.

Rather than just talking about change, the Ichorus team has set out the actually see that change realized in the making of this film.

To start, crowdfunding will primarily go towards workers compensation to ensure that in the event of true disaster, our cast & crew will remain protected.

Additionally, I am pledging 50% of all proceeds past our 2.5k fundraising goal will be donated to the Water Well Trust. This is a non-profit organization that works to provide clean drinking water across America by providing funding for wells in rural & unincorporated areas.
