Jadyn needs support from family and friends to help her pay for housing and tuition at University of Nevada, Reno. Her first payment is due by August 22nd or she will be put on probation and will not be able to use her meal plan.

She moves into her dorm tomorrow and we are praying and trusting God will make a way

As many of you know, last year I had several ischemic mini-strokes that impacted me cognitively and I have not worked since April, 2024. I am currently in a battle with the insurance company to receive the employee benefit due to me that would allow me to pay for Jadyn to attend college. The insurance company is up to its usual "Delay, Deny, Depose," tricks and they are making me appeal, appeal, appeal.

Jadyn did everything she was supposed to do, including getting straight A's her final semester of her senior year. The one mistake she made was applying for college too late to make most of the scholarship deadlines that would have helped her financially. She originally planned to take a gap year (in case I needed her home) but I need her to pursue her dreams.

She was accepted to every school she applied to. I'm so proud of her and I'm so sad UNR is using 2023 income to deny her additional financial aid.
