Jadon (Goje) Van Aarde

The cursor blinked at me as I continued to stare at my screen, "What is your starting goal?". Who can put a "goal" on Jadon's life? If you were to ask his mother, Eunice, she would say there is no goal beyond having him here; seeing his infectious smile, hearing his joyful voice that always had a kind word and funny comment, watching him sleep, seeing him grow, watching him marry someday. His sister, Gianna, would say I need my brother, my friend, the one that's always been there. Each of us who have known him, would say there is no "goal" beyond keeping him here with us. Still, the cursor continued to blink. So, we set a goal based on previous experience with loss.

We live our lives in stages, each stage has a light, that light dims over time. Jadon Michael (Goje) Van Aarde, was struck down during the time when his light shone the brightest. In the glory of his youth, with all the vitality that comes with that, his life on this earth was ended. The hearts of those that knew him, are broken. The unexpected, sudden loss, has overwhelmed and devastated his family.

Grace Gospel Tabernacle, his home church, is the steward of this GoFundMe account. All of the donations made will be used directly for the memorial service, medical bills, and any other unforeseen needs and expenses for the Van Aarde family.
