Jadiel Hernandez is a 5th grader at First Flight Elementary School. He is a son, a grandson, a brother, a cousin, a friend and is loyal to all. Jadiel comes from a large loving Family that includes 5 brothers and sisters. They reside in Kill Devil Hills. 
Three weeks ago Jadiel expirenced 2 very scary episodes. His heart was beating at an extremely alarming rate, 240 beats per minute to be exact. Jadiel saw a Pediatric Cardiologist in Norfolk  where he was immediately placed on a heart monitor while awaiting a critical surgery. Today is the day!
Jadiel is currently undergoing a 4-5 hour heart surgery at Children’s Hospital of the Kings Daughters  in Norfolk Virginia. 
Jadiel’s  parents Leila and Jose, have a very strong faith and believe strongly in the power of prayer.  This GoFundMe has been set up to assist the Hernandez Family with the astronomical Medical bills that will result from this surgery. Making this situation more difficult is the fact that Jadiels’s Dad lost his job due to COVID-19. This will make paying his  medical bills nearly impossible.
