My name is Jade and I’m an Emotional Wellbeing Practitioner at Batley Sporting Foundation. I am taking part in the World Coal Carrying Championships to raise money for Project GLOW - a safe, inclusive space for SEND and/or neurodivergent young adults.

Project GLOW is more than a weekly session. It’s a place where individuals can feel accepted, build confidence, improve their physical and emotional wellbeing, and simply be themselves without judgement.

We create opportunities for them to socialise, exercise, gain life and work-based skills, and access volunteering pathways - helping them move towards greater independence and self-belief.
