Jade's Fight is Our Fight!

Life can be so unfair sometimes… For those of you who may not know, Jade was diagnosed with Stage 4 Clear Cell Renal Carcinoma in May of 2024… she is now in this fight for her life.

Jade was born and raised in Branford, CT and currently lives in Madison, CT with her husband Geoff and two kids (6 & 8 yrs. old). Jade owns Polite Paws Training and has been training dogs and helping dog owners along the shoreline for years. Her clients are loyal and know that she is one of the best of the best! Jade is one of the most selfless, kindhearted, compassionate people I know... the world needs more Jades in it!

As you can imagine, being a mom of two young children and a small business owner facing this diagnosis has had a traumatic impact on daily life and her ability to run her business. Since diagnosis, Jade has undergone surgery to remove a large mass, as well as the kidney it was connected to and the surrounding lymph nodes. The surgery went as well as it possibly could, but it showed that the cancer is quite aggressive.

Starting this week, Jade will begin immunotherapy treatments while waiting to be enrolled in a clinical trial. Weekly doctors’ appointments, blood work, and treatments are all the new “norm” for Jade and her family.

Due to these circumstances, Jade has had to take a huge step back from running her business to focus on her health and family. To help them through this, I am starting this GoFundMe page to help alleviate some of the costs that will amount over the course of her treatments. Any donation is greatly appreciated.
