Jade’s Emergency Wisdom Tooth Extraction

Hi! My name is Kylie Harper (Jade) and I have to have an emergency wisdom tooth extraction. Both of my bottom wisdom teeth are growing in at an extreme angle, putting pressure on my back molars. If left any longer it will result in losing extra teeth on both side. On top of this, my bottom left tooth is dangerously close to the nerve in my jaw. My surgery will not be a simple extraction due to the high risk of this nerve getting damaged or severed and me permanently losing feeling in my jaw. If the tooth shifts and hits my nerve, I will permanently lose feeling in my jaw. Due to the state my teeth are in I am having to get surgery ASAP- which will be in June or July. I am still a student in Mortuary school and I only work part time. I’ve mainly supported myself since I was 18 years old and my family does not have the means to help me. I was cut off from Medicaid upon turning 21, and despite my income status I still don’t qualify. The care I’ve already received for my teeth has put me into debt I can barely afford, and I don’t have the funds to make this happen within the next two months - which is why I’m asking for support from family and friends.
