Hi my name is Jade and In 2022, I was diagnosed with cancer and since then I’ve gone through chemo, radiation, and several surgeries. It’s been a long road with many complications and hospital visits, but I keep working as much as I can. The financial strain has been heavy, and my parents have also stepped in to help. But it’s time to ask for help… Donations will not only support me in attending the Young Adult Cancer Survivorship event in Calgary, Alberta — which I know will greatly help my healing and mental health — but will also help me continue getting back on my feet and pay down the debts that built up over the past few years. As well, this will help me afford non Ohip covered medical expenses such as physio, infusions, the remainder of medicine costs …etc!!

I didn’t share my journey while I was in treatment; I think I needed my time to process but now that I’ve become more comfortable opening up, I’m sharing this part of my life and asking for help.
