A member of our Novato Youth Center family is in need of our help. Heather's 10 year old son, Jaden, had surgery on both legs on Thursday, July 16th. Jaden was born with Spina Bifida and has needed various surgeries since birth, to correct neurologic and orthopedic complications. Jaden is having a difficult time healing from this recent surgery due to an infection (that the doctors are yet to pinpoint) and extensive wounds on his right leg.
Heather and Jaden continue to be at John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek. During this time, Heather is unable to work and does not know what the future holds in terms of a hospital release date and the recovery period and care needed once they are home. On top of Jaden's health, comes the financial stress of losing income each day Heather misses work.
Jaden has two sisters that are anxiously awaiting for mom and brother to return home. This family is in need of some help and prayers during this difficult time. Jaden has a long road ahead of him with healing, follow-up appointments, physical therapy appointments and more. Your contribution will help relieve some of the financial stress this family is enduring.
