Jade McPhatter's Medical and Living Expenses

Jade McPhatter and her roommate were severely injured in a hit and run while walking home to their new Charleston apartment. Both girls are in critical condition at MUSC. Jade is currently in a coma, though she is no longer sedated. We are waiting and hoping for her to wake up on her own time. She has received damage to her skull, her spine, and her ACL. She has now undergone two surgeries to alleviate blood pooling and swelling from her brain. We do not yet know if she has suffered brain damage. Whenever Jade is released from the hospital, she will be left in the care of her sister, Caitlin, and myself (Lane). We are currently seeking donations to help support Jade's rent and living expenses, as we estimate that she will be unable to work for a minimum of 6 months.
