Jada's Path to Healing and Stability

Hello,
I am coming to you all today after a lot of thinking, shame, and fear of embarrassment, to ask for your help. For those who do not know me, my name is Jada Imani M, and I am a photographer, actress, filmmaker, and creative director from the DMV area. I have done various community events and workshops in my hometown with the hopes of using my platform to uplift others.
Ever since September of 2024, I am have begun a journey of full independence as a woman and entrepreneur.
Thankful to God, I was able to move out on my own. Unfortunately, I have hit rock bottom. Even after working literally everyday between shooting, editing, and driving UberEats, I am unable to keep up with my current load of bills. I have also been applying for jobs which I have yet to have any luck (I am still applying). I also am on medicaid and my coverage does not cover my therapy. I had to stop seeing my therapist, which caused my healing journey to take a major hit. I already suffer from depression and (self diagnosed) anxiety so this made things much worse for me mentally.
On another note, I went outside yesterday to head to a shoot just to find you my car was towed. By the time I found out, there were already added fees because of the amount of time my car had been sitting. Just an FYI, I did work the start of the week, but I rode with my friend/client which I why my car was sitting. This is when I knew I hit rock bottom. Again, I use my car to drive UberEats in order to make ends meet. I was on my way to being able to fully pay my rent for this month and then had to pay hundreds of dollars (most of my money) to get my car back. This added onto the rent I owe, my car note, car insurance, electric bill, the negative balance in one of my accounts, and my $6,000 camera that was broken by someone else who refuses to pay for the repairs. Leica has had my camera for almost a year at this point and does not offer payment plans for the $1,000 in repairs that I have to pay.
I also do not have a studio home anymore after being kicked out for personal reasons against me, so I have to use my apartment as a studio until I can afford a membership unless the client pays for the space.
Lastly, the community gallery, I curated, "Voices of the DMV", is something I have to pay out of pocket for. It is currently at risk of shutting down and there will be no closing ceremony if I do not make the payment. I do not have funding for it. I currently am behind on a $200 payment and would love to make things right with the owner of the space.
At this time, I am asking my community to donate to and share this campaign if they are able. I want to continue my work as an artist while also being able to improve on my mental health in the process.
