My name is Jada Reynolds, and I am a high school student at Casa Grande High School with a passion for learning about the world beyond my own community. I have been given the incredible opportunity to spend a year in Indonesia as a peace ambassador through the Rotary Club of Petaluma Valley. While I don’t know where in Indonesia I will be staying just yet, I am very excited for the opportunity to share my culture with others and learn more about Indonesian culture. This exchange year is not just about travel—it's about building bridges, understanding new cultures, and making a positive impact through service projects while I am there.
I have always dreamed of broadening my horizons and experiencing life from a different perspective. Being selected as a peace ambassador means I will be working on meaningful projects, connecting with people from all walks of life, and representing my hometown with pride. However, making this dream a reality comes with significant costs. The funds raised here will help cover my travel expenses, program fees, and living expenses so I can fully engage in this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
I am deeply grateful for any support, whether it’s a donation or simply sharing my story. Your encouragement means the world to me, and I promise to keep everyone updated with stories and photos from my journey in Indonesia. Thank you for helping me take this exciting step toward becoming a global citizen and making a difference!
