Hello! We created this gofundme campaign as a means of doing a collective ask to support Jada Renée Allen as she is currently experiencing a debilitating emotional state of emergency. Over the last several months, Jada has made many efforts to tend to her mental health and apply for fellowships and opportunities to secure money to support her material needs. Throughout her efforts, she began experiencing chronic depression and ideation that coupled with not receiving the funds necessary to pay rent, buy food, etc. As a working artist, Jada teaches, writes, edits, and more but gigs have been practically nonexistent. Because of this, we are asking folks to contribute to this campaign in order to secure housing for Jada for December and January ($3,500).
