Jada Turners Lukemia Fund

Jada Turner is a 10 year old girl with the brightest personality. Jada and her family are from Valdosta Georgia. Back in August Jada started having high fevers that would not go down. Her mother, Stephanie Smith, took her to the doctors to figure out what was going on. The local doctors diagnosed Jada with a bladder infection and sent her home that night. After being sent home, Jada's symptoms did not subside. Jada was still running high fevers and lost her ability to walk and speak. Stephanie rushed her to the ER on August 03, 2018 to find out what's going on. They were told that Jada was showing signs of leukemia. She was then transported from Valdosta to Gainesville, Florida the same night  by helicopter and was admitted into UF Health Shands Cancer Hospital. When she got to Gainesville they immediately started running test to find out what was going on with her. The Dr's diagnosed Jada with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and MDS on August 5th. Jada immediately started chemotherapy and underwent 2 rounds before the doctors discovered Jada had nodules on her lungs. Jada then had to go ahead with a bone marrow transplant on November 14th, which was successful. Day 13 Jada engrafted with her donor cells and started to get better  on December 6th and after four long months she was released from the hospital. As of now, the doctors would like to keep Jada in Gainesville for at least another 3 months due to complications she has been having. Jada and her family had  to leave their home in Georgia and Stephanie is unable to work due to being the primary caretaker of Jada with weekly appointments. We want to start this go fund me to be able to help fund living and other necessary costs. Only 4% of cancer research spending goes to pediatrics. The hospital is unable to further support Jada and her families living expeensives where they could live comfortably and save money for when they return to Georgia in search for a house (since they had previously lost theirs). Our biggest concern is to help Stephanie focus  on Jada and her health, bringing her to all her hospital/doctor appointments, and not have to stress about where she is going to find the money to cover the cost of living in Gainesville.
