Jada Chapman

Hi my name is Jimmy, her only son. I'm reaching out today to share her story. Jada was born and raised in Cincinnati and lived there the majority of her life. She was a registered nurse, loved horses and to travel.
Most of this came to a halt many years ago when she was diagnosed with some serious medical issues. She stayed strong, fought everything she could and remained as independent as she could, with my help.
As life went on though, you could tell that surgeries and sickness had taken their toll however she continued to not back down.
This past weekend wasn't much different to begin with. I took her over groceries and breakfast and made sure that she was doing okay. She said she wasn't feeling quite right however assured me things were okay. I got her back into her bedroom with her breakfast and proceeded to go about my day. About an hour later I received a phone call from her which was mostly mumbling. Concerned I rushed back over and found her unresponsive and attempted CPR until paramedics showed up.
They did everything they could in her apartment and rushed her to UC however she end up passing away.
Unfortunately at this point there are a lot of loose ends and things that I need to take care of on her behalf including her cremation. Times are tough across the board, we all know that.
If you can help anything would be appreciated. If not, I appreciate you taking the time to read this and hope that you can share a kind word if nothing else.
Any funds above and beyond the expected goal will be donated to the Kentucky Horse Council, Save Our Horses Fund in her memory.
