In memory Jacquie Wilson - 70km for 70 years

Hi, I’m Claire. My Mum, the amazing Jacquie Wilson, passed away on 2nd July 2023.

She should have celebrated her 70th birthday on 7th February this year. In memory of her and to celebrate her and her 70th birthday, I plan on running 70km over the next few months with the help and support from some amazing family and friends. My first two runs will be the Brighton 10km on the 7th April and a 5km inflatable obstacle course in St Albans on the 20th April.

I hope to raise money for Addenbrookes Charitable Trust and The Royal Papworth Hospital both of which looked after Mum when she was poorly. I’m also raising money to give to her school, Rye Park Nursery School, where she worked for the whole of her teaching career, over 35 years so that they can use it for something special in memory of her.
