Thank you for taking the time to read my story. I thank God first of all for the blessings I've had, and now I find myself praying for an additional blessing. I must fight for my life to continue caring for my two wonderful parents who have needed my help due to their disabilities; they are worth the fight. I am also 37 years old and feel there is so much life left for me to live.
In June 2019, I was diagnosed with a very rare form of soft-tissue sarcoma. The Oncology Board at the University of Michigan Hospital warned me that standard cancer treatment would have debilitating side effects and would not offer me hope of lasting results.
The tumor is growing at 30% every three to four months. I have lost the ability to use my arm for simple tasks such as cooking, house cleaning, or just lifting my arm to get dressed. My pain level has increased significantly and brought me to tears. I feel as if I am being stabbed in the arm. I am finding it more physically challenging to provide the usual care for my mom and dad. They need me, and time is critical.
I am so grateful to have been accepted as a patient at CMN Hospital in San Luis, Sonora MX. The physician's medical team is ready to begin treatment; all I need to do is raise the money to get there.
After days of research, I found CMN Hospital and had a video consultation with Dr. Payan, the general hospital director, treating me. I feel that CMN hospital has the best reputation for the type of cancer I have and decided this is where I need to go. I trust them. I also found a website called Heal Navigator, where there are reviews of the world's most renowned alternative cancer treatment facilities.
