With a heavy heart I am here to inform you that my older sister Jacqueline Baranda Arias, passed away at the age of 26 on April 28th, 2021.  She graduated from Poway High School  in 2012 and Chico State in 2017, being the first one in our family to go to college.  She had the gift of helping others by serving her community: volunteering and teaching at Valley Elementary school. She was very selfless, she went above and beyond to help someone in need. 

Jackie was and still is a crucial part in our family that holds us all together and was like a second mother to us. Jacqueline was very loving, caring, and a mentor to  us. Our hearts are broken and we miss her dearly. Her memory will be in our hearts forever. Jacqueline always had a positive attitude and always inspired us to be better.  

All donations will be going for my sister's funeral service. Any contribution will be greatly appreciated.


Con el corazón pesado les quiero informar que mi hermana mayor Jacqueline Baranda Arias, falleció a los 26 años el 28 de abril. Ella se graduó de Poway High School en 2012 y Chico State en 2017, siendo la primera en nuestra familia en ir a la universidad . Jackie tuvo el don de ayudar a otros sirviendo a su comunidad: ayudando y enseñando en la escuela primaria Valley. Ella también fue muy cariñosa, haciendo todo lo que pudo para ayudar a alguien en necesidad.

Jackie sigue siendo una persona crucial en nuestra familia y fue como una segunda madre para nosotros. Nuestros corazones están rotos y la extrañamos muchísimo. Su memoria estará en nuestros corazones para siempre. Jacqueline siempre tuvo una actitud positiva y siempre nos inspiró a ser mejores.

Todas las donaciones se destinarán al servicio funerario de mi hermana. Cualquier contribución será muy apreciada. Muchas gracias por su donaciones.
