This fund has been created to support my close friend, Mackenzie and her children, 2 year old Isabella and unborn baby arriving in June, after the sudden and tragic death of her husband, Jacob DiNoto on January 5, 2017.  

Mackenzie found Jacob unresponsive in their Pacific Grove apartment upon returning home from work. The cause of death is still unknown, but likely related to heart issues. 

I am hoping to raise funds to help with funeral expenses and provide a financial cushion for Mackenzie so she is able to take time off of work to grieve the devastating loss of Jacob in her life. Any additional funds raised would be used to support Bella's needs and Mackenzie as she welcomes their new baby into the world come June. 

Since Jacobs passing, it has become extremely apparent via social media that he positively impacted the lives of everyone he came in contact with. From his family in Conneticut, to classmates from culinary school, and to his new friends and family here in California, everyone seems to find comfort in remembering Jacobs huge, beautiful smile, his quirky laugh, his humorous jokes and his exquisite food. Jacob was truly one of a kind and will be missed by so many.

Anybody that knew Jacob not only knew, but also felt, the love he had for Mackenzie, Bella and their new baby. My hopes are for everyone to come together to support them in this difficult time of need, as Jacob would have done for all of us.
