Jacob Bowton's Fight Fund
On July 18th, Jacob was a few blocks away from his work on his motorcycle at 6:45am when a bus pulled out in front of him in a yield zone. Jacob sustained injuries to his brain and lungs. He was transported to Legacy Emanuel hospital and remains there in the ICU at this time in an induced coma.
Jake has been through a whirlwind of procedures including chest tubes, a pressure bolt into his brain, feeding tubes, intubation, daily bronchoscopies, CT scans and hourly neuro checks.
Currently the Emanuel Team is working to wake him from sedation. It is unknown what his treatment plan will be moving forward but it will likely include occupational therapy, speech therapy, physical therapy and any further treatment needed.
Jacob's family needs your help and support in the ongoing finances that are surfacing. Jacob has vehicle payments, insurance, medical deductibles, etc. His family appreciates any and all support.
