Jacob Barela

Our friend and co-worker, Jacob Barela, is in the hospital fighting for his life. He suffered a brain injury here at work which has caused a series of additional problems. Due to a prior car accident, workers comp denied his claim for the injury that happened on the job. After the work accident he developed fluid on the brain and needed to have a stint put it to drain it. Recently the stint developed an infection which caused a seizure. Now he is in ICU fighting the infection and is in and out of a coma.
Because his work injury was denied by workers comp he is going to have to foot the bill for all of the hospital care. We are looking to help him offset some of the expense.
Jacob is a kind, happy guy who always puts a smile on people’s faces. He works hard and we miss him here at the office. Mostly we miss his smiling face. All proceeds will go to him and his family for expenses.
