I'm organizing this campaign to raise funds for my friend Jake, who has just suffered from a stroke, leaving him paralyzed on the left side of his body.

Jake is a single father of 3, who is getting help from his mum currently.

His mum now needs to take time off work to be able to care for him and his kids.

Jake has suffered from heart problems his whole life.

His first surgery was at 8 weeks old- where the doctors replaced his mitral valve.

At 14- he suffered a heart attack, and he was rushed to hospital. This was his second surgery- He had his aortic valve replaced with a pig (porcine) valve- due to that surgery he had a pacemaker put in.

From this surgery he seemed to be travelling fine until he was 18- when he was classed clinically dead- he was brought back to life and given a mechanical heart valve- the doctors repaired his aortic valve with a tube so that it wouldn’t expand and kill him.

From 18 onwards, now being 29, he’s had a decent life, until recently.

Jakes been in and out of hospital, suffering from a lot of heart problems and a few heart attacks.

Now he's had the stroke, he requires a lot of physio and rehabilitation.

Jake's focus is solely on his kids and doing as much with them while he can. He needs our help and support.
