Jacob Torgeson

With heavy hearts we lost a son, cousin, nephew, grandson and an incredible friend. Jacob was killed on Monday September 11th, 2023 after a fatal car crash in Boone County, IL.

Jacob had just turned 18 years old and graduated from Hononegah High School, class of 2023. He was ready to attend college to become a history professor. His future goal was to run for congress. While still with us, Jacob was a member of the Sons of the American Legion for 15 years where he donated his time as well.

Jacob was an only child and our hearts are broken especially because of how young he died with his whole life still in front of him.

Unfortunately, there was no life insurance to help with the unexpected financial burden of funeral costs for such a young man. Any donation large or small would be greatly appreciated and help his parents tremendously during such a difficult time.
