On the morning of Wednesday, January 11, my dear friend Julie Ryan lost her oldest son, Jake, in a horrific automobile accident. Julie, Rob and Drew are preparing for funeral arrangements - any family's worst nightmare. What's amplifying the situation is that Julie recently lost her job of 10 years when her entire department was moved outside the country. Jake did not have life insurance, so the total cost of the funeral falls on Julie and Rob.
As I've spoken with other friends, we are processing this information, taking deep breaths and realizing our own blessings, and wondering how in the world can we help such a caring person through a broken heart. We believe we CAN help by rallying friends and family to help relieve some of the financial burden of the funeral and settlement of Jake's financial affairs. Will you please also say a prayer for Julie and her family, and consider a donation to help relieve some of the financial burden? No amount is too small. If there is any money left over after funeral and burial expenses have been paid, the money will be donated to the Hamilton County Human Society in Jake's name.
Blessings,
Debbie
