For those of you who don’t know, February 23rd Jacob was found unresponsive in his car & taken to the hospital where he remains on life support.  Good news is he is stable, and has shown some signs of improvement.  He has pointed his finger, squeezed his wife's  hand & wiggled his toes upon request but not consistently. Unfortunately Jacob has months ahead of him during his recovery, and rehabilitation.

Jacob is one of those people you don’t ever forget. He and his wife have been together almost 14 years & have 6 children who are his whole entire world.
I’m sure most of you know he loves to cook so when he’s home he is basically a short order cook for his wife  & the kids. 

"According to  his wife Stephanie Roberts"Many people have asked what they can do to help or what the family needs & honestly I'm really not sure.    Everyday is just so surreal. I can tell you what’s helping me get through each day is looking back at memories I posted on social media & going through old family pictures/videos. I know some of you are close with Jacob & imagine are also struggling with all this, not to mention the stress of having to take on some of his work load. If any of you feel it would be helpful for you, I would love to see pictures you have of him, hear about any inside jokes, stories or just your favorite things about Jacob. I will read everything to him."

Our brother requires the help of  his extended family .  As you can see Jacob's family is in for a long haul.  Unable to work and living off of his short term disability reduced salary, the financial burden of this care will certainly make an impact.
