Hi, my name is Heather and I'm fundraising for the Ringenbach Family. The Ringenbach family resides in Midland, Tx. The Ringenbach Family is a sweet family of five. The family consists of Rachel (Mom), Ryan (Dad), Addison, Jacob, and Lincoln.

Jacob is a sweet, funny, and strong 5-year-old little boy who has the unimaginable happening to him currently. He was diagnosed with a massive brain tumor. No child deserves this ever!

"Our Jacob needs all the prayers, positive thoughts and good vibes he can get. The last few days he was waking up screaming and vomiting, I didn’t feel right about it and knew something was wrong. I took him in to the ER, thankfully the dr there listened and didn’t brush me off. A CT scan showed that he has a mass in his brain. We were transferred to Lubbock with a Neuro team. In a few hours they will be placing a drain/shunt into his brain to relieve the pressure, he will have an MRI done to get a better look at the tumor as well as a full spinal scan to check for any other tumors/lesions. He’s been started on steroids and will need to be on them for at least 24 hrs and the plan is to remove the ”mass” sometime Saturday. We don’t know what this is and won’t know until it’s removed and they can send it off to pathology. Hopefully in about a week we will know what type of tumor and the next course of action will be. If everyone could please keep Jacob, his team of doctors, nurses, Ryan, myself and the rest of our family in your thoughts and prayers we would very much appreciate it. This is a parents worst nightmare and I wouldn’t wish this on anyone. I feel helpless and scared but will remain strong for our boy. He seems to be in good spirits so far and is really being such a trooper! I’m so proud to be his mama!"
