Jacob "Phamiliar" Cerna Memorial Fund
Donation protected
In 1986, a light was lit. Like all of us, it started dim. Unlike all of us, Jacob Cerna's light grew and grew into an intense flame that shone all of us. For those of us close to him, we got to enjoy the heat of his passion for laughter, for music and dance, and most of all for his family. His warmth was apparent to all the moment you met him. He eminated positivity and won over even his harshest critic with it. Though he got heated at times, he always in the end chose positivity He chose to keep things light, to keep them positive. He had such a quality to him that people would tell him he felt familiar to them the first time they met him. He got this so much he became known as "Phamiliar" when he started chasing his passion in rap. He was known and remembered by all who met him, and could hardly take a step in San Pedro without meeting 5 people who he would introduce as his friends. Sadly his flame burnt out suddenly on January 2nd 2019. He leaves behind his Mother Terri, Father Jess, brothers Jay and Joshua, uncle's, Aunt's, cousins, a large extended family who loved him, his many collaborators during his career as Phamiliar, anndountless fans and friends from his 32 years of brilliant life. Last, but most importantly he leaves behind 2 beautiful daughters: Adalynn and Justine. The purpose of this fundraiser is to help alleviate the financial burden on the family for Jacob's memorial services, and if possible, set aside something for his children. Any amount no matter how large or small is appreciated. For those that can't afford to give you can bless the family by just sharing this page with anyone who knew Jacob or might be touched by his story. Jacob gave all of himself to the world, hopefully in this small way, we can give some of it back. Thank you to all for your support.
