My name is Emma and fundraising on behalf of my sister and brother-in-law at this very difficult time for them. 

 On Friday afternoon the 9th September Jacob got a call to get into Wollongong hospital. Lately he had been suffering with symptoms that were unusual, e.g metallic taste in mouth, blurt vision, swollen tongue. Which alarmed him to get scans done.

 On the 12th of September 2022, Jacob underwent emergency brain surgery to remove and biopsy a big tumour discovered on his right frontal lobe during an MRI scan. One week later, on Tuesday, September 21, a biopsy revealed that Jacob has glioblastoma, a grade 4 astrocytoma (GBM).

   Given Jacobs's prognosis, his hopeful outlook on life and his possibilities are an inspiration to everyone around him and to everybody who reads his story. Since he is so upbeat, he want to continue sharing his good outlook on life and his surroundings.
