In memory of Jacob Pack Barton. Friend, Father, Miner.
Donation protected
This is Jake, a father, friend, and a fanatic of all things mining and mine-related. Jake was an old soul, to put it simply, and had no hesitation making that obvious, oftentimes in the most hilariously blunt way. Jake enjoyed the outdoors, exploring abandoned mines and ghost towns, spending time with his family, and messing with old Ford trucks.
Jake was a problem solver with a get-it-done attitude. He had friends everywhere he went and could always be counted on to help out if someone needed it. He had a great work ethic but also knew how to slow down and have a good time when it was called for.
We lost Jake tragically and suddenly on January 10th, 2025. He leaves behind the mother of his children, his young son and daughter, and his three stepdaughters.
There are many hearts hurting for Jake right now. We kindly ask that you donate in this time of need for his family to provide relief so that this tragedy can be grieved properly.
