Jacob "Kostelnik" Kostelli Memorial Support Fund

"Anyone who got the chance to meet him would attest that he radiated joy and light."

Jacob Kostelli tragically passed away on Monday, January 23 at age 33 after battling COVID, pneumonia and germ cell cancer. He leaves behind his loving wife Mandi and devoted family. This fund is to help Mandi as she navigates funeral and medical costs and to support her during this incredibly difficult time.

Obituary:

Jacob was a 2007 graduate of Eastlake North High School, attended the University of Akron and was a 2012 graduate of Cleveland State University. He loved everything about life, but most of all he loved hiking, kayaking, working with water colors, drumming and learning the art of Bonsais. He loved enjoying any morsel of food, practicing Jujitsu and riding his bike with his dog Benji. He loved his family and friends more than anything and anyone who got the chance to meet him would attest that he radiated joy and light.

Jacob was the beloved husband of six years to Amanda Buccelli Kostelli; dear son of Patricia Kostelnik and Kenneth J. (Valerie) Kostelnik; loving brother of Peter J. Kostelnik and Sam J. Kostelnik; paternal grandson of Mickey Kostelnik; maternal grandson of Richard and Rosemary (nee Hoffert) Habek; stepbrother of Kendall M. Slaght, Kaden D. Slaght and Cooper J. Slaght; and the nephew and cousin of many.

Mass of Resurrection for Jacob Joseph "Kostelnik" Kostelli, 33, of Cleveland, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, 2023, at St. Mary Magdalene Church, 32114 Vine St., Willowick. Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass at church. Burial will be private. Jacob’s wife, Amanda will host a Shiva-like open house from Sunday 1/29 to Wednesday 2/1.
