Jake was born a roller coaster enthusiast. From a young child he would spend hours in his basement constructing complex coasters with K'Nexs. It was only natural that he landed a job in the field of building them. Unfortunately he fell from one on 9/14/2020.
Jake has been part of our lives since the birth of my 19 year old son. I hired his mother to care for my two children and they became her own. She and her family have remained a part of ours. My family is heartbroken at the loss of this young man from their lives, but it certainly can't compare to the devastation his immediate family is experiencing. He was his sister's best friend.
There is nothing that can be done to console them, but I would like to lessen any financial concerns they have at this time. This family would never ask for help but they will clearly need it. They need to travel to Orlando and arrange to bring Jake to his home in the Chicago area and make arrangements for his funeral and his burial.
All funds will go directly to his mother.
