Jacob Jessup Funeral Expenses

Jacob was one of the toughest, bravest, happiest little 6 year olds I’ve ever known. He was dealt an unfair hand from birth with a congenital heart defect. Just a few days after he was born he underwent a major heart surgery and handled it like a little warrior. He spent the first year of his life in the NICU recovering and undergoing several more surgeries over the last 6 years. His parents spent every possible moment by his side, holding his hand and being his cheerleader. Jacob was the center of his siblings and parents world. He brought life, laughter and happiness to their home. He loved music and dancing. He loved Elmo, The Flash and Sponge Bob. He was pure joy and love.

In the early morning hours on December 23rd, Jacob unexpectedly and suddenly passed away from a blood clot in his heart. His family is devastated. Simply heartbroken. There are truly no words for the pain they are going through. As I watch my sister make plans to bury her baby boy I feel helpless, there is nothing in this world that can take that pain away. So Im trying to focus on what I can help with and that’s taking a little bit of the financial stress of planning a funeral. Several people have reached out and wanted to donate towards any final expenses, so I’ve created this as a way to do so.

Please keep my sister, her husband and their 3 other children in your prayers. They are suffering beyond measure and would give anything to hold Jacob one last time. Another day of life is never promised, so hug your loved ones and snuggle your babies extra.
