Help for Jacob, Jessica and Lila Ruby

Dear friends

This sweet family needs our help, and our prayers.

Jacob is very sick right now, and is being treated for complicated unknown infections including sepsis and pneumonia. He has been in a medically induced coma, and on a ventilator. We remain hopeful. Jacob is a healthy young person.

Additionally, Jacob and Jessica have been working to find answers for their daughter Lila Ruby, who is only two, and has suffered serious digestive issues since birth. They have made countless trips to Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati searching for answers, and are spending a ridiculous amount of money on medications for Lila. Life has been exhausting.

Jacob's care will likely involve months of healing. Between Jacob's situation and Lila’s on going care, there is no telling when Jess will be able to return to work. The best way we can help them right now is to contribute whatever we can toward their ongoing expenses.
