Jacob is a scout with 1st Ashton (Lord Gerard’s Own) in the Wigan district.

In October he went through a selection process day for the world scout jamboree 2027 and offered a place in Unit 70 - East Lancashire and Greater Manchester West, where he will be alongside 40,000 other Scouts from around the world in Gdansk, Poland in the summer of 2027!

Each scout is to fundraise £3,600!

Jacob has put together a fundraising plan which he will follow during the next 18 months which includes taking part in sponsored activities such as litter picking, putting on little local events, making and selling seasonal treats and much much more!

If you would like to contribute to Jacob’s goal, please donate through his go fund me and follow his journey where we will update you all regularly on his progress and activities.
