Family and friends, I apologize in advance for the novel and I hope you will all continue to read. First I want to thank you all for coming out and supporting these guys all summer. They have been amazed at all of the love you’ve shown them. I’m sure many of you are with me when I say these guys are the real deal and have a true shot. With that being said, you all know the music industry is a very tough circle to get in to. It takes time, connections, the right person to hear, and them to like who you are and what you’re about. With these humble guys, their diverse backgrounds, and their different outlooks/personalities I believe it is truly just a matter of time. They’re good people with big dreams, reachable dreams. As many of you know the guys just got moved out to Nashville. They are working, writing, and ready to make the next move. Luckily they didn’t just make a blind move. Over the past year they’ve secured connections so they are already working with songwriters, publishing companies, and other musicians on a regular basis. To get discovered by the people you want to see your music you have to develop a large following. When people see these guys I believe they will enjoy their talent and really like them. When they do, we need somewhere for fans to search and hear a professionally recorded Album or EP. They need a professionally recorded - 4 song EP to put on Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal, etc.
When I visited Nashville about a couple months ago I had the pleasure of meeting the publishing company manager, as well as some of the songwriters and musicians they will be spending time with. I was able to sit down with a producer and listen to some of his work, which when the guys visited Nashville earlier this summer this producer recorded a sample verse for a song they are working on and the quality is amazing. I’ve been discussing with him the costs for a 4 song EP and it will cost $3500. I spent a morning getting to see every step of his process, his equipment, his talent, and sound. I can personally say this would be a guaranteed investment for great quality work. This is a discounted rate as he has met the guys, thinks they are great, and is ready to do a project with them. Many of the up and coming artists in Nashville have made it due to ONE big song, that’s all it takes to get discovered. You see overnight sensations every year like Luke Combs. Why can’t Jacob Hackworth Music be next?
Again I apologize for the lengthy proposal and hope we can get help from you all to raise this money, get these guys in the studio and help them record the next big hit. From there, the sky is the limit. Whether it’s 5, 10, 20 or $100 we appreciate any help at all. If we can spread this to thousands of people maybe we can get it done! When the album is recorded we can have a listening party and invite everyone out that helped us, to enjoy getting to hear it for the first time together. This is something us as friends, family and fans can do to support them in a big step towards their success. Let’s help them chase their dream!
