I have been going through the process of a liver transplant. In the mean time my body is accepting and rejecting some treatments provided. 

Lucky one by one they are able to stabilize each organ that was slowly turning against me. Was updated that I’ll be here for while. 3 weeks of testing, than possible transplant of my liver. Than fun part, 3-4 months of living in Denver while follow up appointments and 3-4 months of observation and constant visits to the clinic for testings. I want to thank everyone so far that has reached out to me and my family with support and love.. Relieves worry and stress from me while I’m in the ICU to know mom and dad are financially ok and comfortable while they go through this life change of their youngest child. Was informed that budgeting for lodging will be around $6000. That’s a huge burden and worry 

Story of my liver exchange.

I was sent from University of New Mexico Hospital to University of Colorado Transplant Trama Hospital. Was here for a simple procedure and tests for my liver and immune system function and see if my body can accept my new liver. 

Well come to find out my condition is more critical than anticipated. 

Causing my heart, kidney, liver and blood to be rejected already by my body’s weak immune system. The specialists are giving me around the clock attention. They are so good here they are finding sicknesses that other doctors missed or didn’t help with identifying the bacteria 

My parents and Family were informed I will be in the Denver,CO area for a few months, insurances helps here and there but most expenses will need to come out of pocket. 

There is always a time in someone life when it’s hard to learn to ask for help. But any amount any assistance to keep travel expenses and lodging to a reasonable affordable price. To give aid to my health and make sure my parents are also taken cared of while they travel the long distance between Albuquerque to Denver and needing hotels rooms will be pricy. 

This is my time in my life that I am in need of help. Anything helps from prayers to any amount you can spare.

I love you all and I’m dedicated to fight this through and come out a new and better Jacob..the world will not loose my sunshine smile until my time. As for now your help will be greatly appreciated.
