Our family is facing a challenge we never imagined: Jake has been diagnosed with stage IV head and neck cancer. His treatment plan at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore will require seven weeks of daily radiation and chemotherapy and just as long of a recovery time. While we are hopeful and determined, the logistics are overwhelming—driving over two hours each day, covering housing, food, and gas, all while balancing care for our two young children.

Jake has always been a hard-working husband, father, and chef who puts his family and community first. Now we’re asking for help as we walk through this difficult season.
