Jacob Armacost Foundation, Inc.

Jacob suffered a near-drowning accident in 1997 at the age of 16 months, leaving him severely brain damaged. The Jacob Armacost Foundation was created by family and friends to support his care.

Today Jacob is 27. It has been a long expensive road from the day his parents were told a story of little to no hope. That road has included Hyperbaric Oxygen treatments, Feldenkrais therapy, acupuncture and numerous sensory simulation therapies. None of which are covered by insurance but many of which have improved his life and shown sensory progress over the many years of trials and experimentation.

He is a fighter and it has been a long fight. The road ahead is very long and progress very slow and expensive, however, without speaking a word Jacob has crossed barriers and melted hearts with his story.

Your help is appreciated especially now. Our last bi-annual fundraiser was cancelled due to COVID restrictions and today we are in need. We are working on scheduling a fundraiser soon.
