Hi, my name is Clarissa and I am fundraising for my brother Jacob and his battle with COVID. He was diagnosed with COVID a month ago after being fully vaccinated. Jacob also has Type 1 Diabetes so this COVID diagnosis has been extra hard for him. Although he recovered from COVID he has been dealing with the long term side effects. This morning he was rushed to the emergency and immediately put on a ventilator to help with respiratory issues along with being in a Diabetic Ketoacidosis. Because of his diabetes and the COVID side effects, Jacob will have to be out of work for a while, the physical labor of his job and the heat will be too much for him.
