Jaclyn's Cancer Journey

Hi all, my name is Michelle Hebert and I'm a close friend of the wonderful Jaclyn Roy's. Some of you may be aware, but Jaclyn has recently received the jarring news that she has Breast Cancer.

 

She has a family history of it and so thankfully has been checking herself and we think caught it relatively early. She is scheduled for surgery on April 13, 2022 to hopefully remove the lump and then will have radiation and potentially chemotherapy after that. The Doctors won't know exactly what they're dealing with until they can get in there and see the severity.

 

Understandably so, Jaclyn is very scared but has been handling it all with a grace and strength that only she could. Her financial situation is tight as it is. That is without considering the recovery time she's going to need. There is also the concern of the very steep costs of a lot of the cancer medications.

 

Jaclyn is far too proud and strong to ask anyone for help herself, but friends, she could really use it. Anything you're able to give to help ease the financial burden that this potentially very serious condition will give, would be so appreciative. Especially considering she is living across the country from the majority of her family and therefore cannot simply lean on them for support.

 

Jaclyn is part of my chosen family and I want to and have been helping in any way I can, but it takes a village to support those in need. Please be a part of Jaclyn's village in anyway you can.
